Utah has won five of its first six to begin the year and is coming off Friday’s 107-100 victory at Boston. Deron Williams had 26 points and 14 assists to pace the Jazz, who avoided blowing a 12-point fourth-quarter lead.
Carlos Boozer tallied 24 points and 14 rebounds while Mehmet Okur scored 23 points for Utah, which shot a strong 53.2 percent from the field.
The Jazz will wrap up a three-game road trip with tonight’s matchup. Utah started the swing with a 96-89 defeat at New Jersey on Wednesday.
Milwaukee has lost three in a row following a 2-1 start and was handed a 116-111 setback at Washington last night. The Wizards fought back from a nine- point deficit early in the fourth quarter.
Michael Redd poured in 28 points and Charlie Villanueva chipped in 18 along with seven rebounds for the Bucks. Andrew Bogut and Dan Gadzuric each finished with 15 points in the loss.
Utah swept last year’s home-and-home series between the clubs and has won three straight overall over Milwaukee. The Jazz had lost two in a row at the Bradley Center before last December’s 88-80 triumph.
