O’Neal collided with Chicago’s Ronald Dupree inside the 9:00 mark of the second quarter, banging his knee against the rookie forward’s thigh. He was helped off the court by some teammates and taken to the locker room.

O’Neal posted four points and six rebounds before leaving. He will be re- evaluated on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old All Star is having a sensational year for the Eastern Conference-leading Pacers. He entered Monday’s action averaging 20.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.64 blocks per game.

It marks the third straight season O’Neal has averaged more than 19 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per game.
