It is the third and final meeting of the campaign between the squads. The Lakers won the two previous contests and have won six of nine and seven of their last 12 at Denver
The Lakers enter Thursday’s contest on a two-game winning streak. All-Star Kobe Bryant posted 43 points and six assists to lead the Lakers to a 104-88 win over the Houston Rockets at the Staples Center.
Bryant has 23 games of at least 40 points this season, tying Elgin Baylor (1962-63) for the franchise record.
Lamar Odom had 21 points and six rebounds and Smush Parker totaled 15 points and a career-high 10 assists in the win over Houston for the Lakers, who have won six of their last seven games overall.
Los Angeles is 18-21 as the visitor this season. The Lakers, who have won two in a row on the road, will visit Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns on Friday at US Airways Center.
