Magic host struggling Raptors

Toronto has won three of five and four of the last seven meetings in this series. The Raptors have lost two straight and three of their last four at Orlando.

The Raptors begin a tough four-game road trip this evening. On Sunday, Andre Iguodala scored a game-high 26 points and Kyle Korver added 23, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 107-80 win over Toronto at Air Canada Centre.

Chris Bosh paced the Raptors with 22 points and seven boards in the loss to Philadelphia. Charlie Villanueva had 15 points off the bench for Toronto, which has dropped six in a row at home and is a miserable 1-12 at the Air Canada Centre this season.

Toronto is 3-8 on the road this season. The Raptors will also visit Houston, San Antonio and Detroit on the current swing.

Orlando tries to get back on the winning track as it starts a season-long six game homestand. On Friday, Dirk Nowitzki tallied 31 points, including 20 in the fourth quarter and overtime, as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Magic, 109-103, at American Airlines Center.

Grant Hill scored 28 points in his second game back with the Magic after missing the first 19 games of the season with a sports hernia injury, while Hedo Turkoglu scored 17 points off the bench in the loss to Dallas.

Steve Francis tallied 16 points, Jameer Nelson contributed 14 points and DeShawn Stevenson and Dwight Howard scored 10 points apiece for Orlando, which had its two-game winning streak snapped. Howard also had 10 rebounds and five blocks in defeat.

The Magic are 5-6 as the host this season. They will also host New Jersey, the Lakers, Milwaukee, New York and Minnesota on their homestand.
