Mavs send Daniels to Pacers for Croshere 07.12.2006

The deal ends Croshere’s nine-year tenure in Indiana, where he averaged 7.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in 540 contests. Croshere was the team’s first-round pick in 1997.
"We hate to see Austin go. He has been nothing but class in the nine years he has been here and he has been an important part of our success," said Pacer president Larry Bird. "He is someone I’m personally going to miss."
Daniels, meanwhile, averaged 9.3 points, 3.3 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game in three seasons with Dallas, which signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2003.
"We’re very happy to have Marquis join our team," added Bird. "He can play multiple positions and brings things to our team we didn’t have. He’s athletic, long and very skilled."
