Bryant sits with ankle sprain

Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - LA Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant sat out Friday night’s 106-95 win over the Atlanta Hawks with a sprained right ankle.

Bryant suffered the injury in Monday night’s 101-87 win over the Indiana Pacers. He played through the injury Wednesday night, when the Lakers fell to the Hornets, 105-89.

Bryant is averaging 25.9 points per game this season.
