Bucks, Knicks battle at MSG 02.23.2007

Milwaukee is just 2-16 over its last 18 games and suffered a 136-129 double- overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at Conseco Fieldhouse. Michael Redd had 38 points for the Bucks, who have dropped 10 of their last 11 outings.
Mo Williams tallied 24 points and 10 assists for Milwaukee.
The Bucks have lost 10 in a row on the road and are 8-24 away from the Bradley Center this season. They are also last in the Central Division. In injury news, Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva (right ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game.
New York has lost two of its last three games, including Wednesday’s 104-84 setback to the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.
Eddy Curry was 10-of-12 from the floor and tallied 22 points for the Knicks, who were coming off a 100-94 win over Orlando on Tuesday. Jamal Crawford netted 14 points and rookie Renaldo Balkman had 13 and seven boards.
The Knicks are back home where they have won four in a row and own a 14-13 record this season. They are also 5 1/2 games off the lead in the Atlantic standings.
On the injury front, Knicks guard Quentin Richardson (shoulder) and forward David Lee (flu) are both questionable for Friday’s game.
Friday’s battle between the Bucks and Knicks is the third of four meetings this season. The 2006-07 series is tied at a game apiece, but Milwaukee has won five of seven and six of the last nine meetings.
Milwaukee has won three of five and four of its last seven in the Big Apple.
