Cavs sign Nailon to second 10-day deal

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday signed forward Lee Nailon to a second 10-day contract on Saturday.

Nailon is averaging 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game since first signing with Cleveland on March 3. The Cavaliers are 5-0 over that span.

Before signing with Cleveland, Nailon played in 35 games this season with Atlanta and Orlando and averaged 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds.

Nailon, 29, had his best season in 2001-02 when he averaged 10.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 79 games playing for the Charlotte Hornets.

Cleveland must decide at the end of this 10-day contract whether to sign Nailon for the remainder of the season, or give him his outright release.
