Dallas Mavericks Team Report - November 7

(Basketball News) - Michael Finley scored 23 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 22 points and 13 rebounds, as the Dallas Mavericks rolled to a 112-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday at the American Airlines Center.

Erick Dampier had 13 points and a game-high 18 rebounds for the Mavericks, who remained unbeaten through their first three games.

Dallas shot 50 percent (37-of-74) from the field, going 6-of-16 from three- point range in the victory over the Grizzlies. The Mavericks outrebounded Memphis, 53-36.

The Mavericks are off to their best start since they opened the 2002-03 campaign with 14 straight victories.

Nowitzki has averaged 24.7 points and 10 rebounds in the first three games of the season.

Dallas is off until Monday when it hosts the winless Golden State Warriors. Last season, the Mavericks won three of the four contests between the two squads.
