(Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets were crushed by the San Antonio Spurs, 93-67, on Wednesday in the regular-season finale for both teams at SBC Center.

Carmelo Anthony led Denver with 12 points. Andre Miller netted 11 for the Nuggets, who were outscored 61-34 in the second half.

Denver (43-39) heads to the postseason as the eighth seed in the Western Conference and will battle Minnesota in the first round. The Timberwolves were 3-1 versus the Nuggets this season.

The Nuggets and Minnesota play the first game of the best-of-seven series on Sunday at the Target Center.
