(Basketball News) - The Nuggets registered a 90-88 win over the New Jersey Nets at the Pepsi Center on Tuesday night.
Kenyon Martin racked up 22 points and 12 rebounds against his former team as Denver picked up the win. Martin, who spent the first four years of his career with the Nets before being traded to Denver in the offseason, had six assists and shot 10-of-19 from the floor.
Martin posted his fifth double-double of the season and the Nuggets are 5-0 in those games.
Andre Miller poured in 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting along with five assists to aid the Nuggets to their fourth straight win, while Marcus Camby contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.
Earl Boykins, who ended with 12 points, sealed the win with a running one- hander off the glass with 20 seconds left. The Nets missed a chance to tie when Eric Williams’ three-point attempts with six seconds rimmed out.
Denver has the next few days off before hosting the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. The Nuggets have five of their next six games at the friendly confines of the Pepsi Center.
