Doug Moe undergoes prostate cancer surgery

Denver, CO (Basketball News) - Denver Nuggets assistant coach Doug Moe underwent successful prostate cancer surgery on Monday. The procedure was performed at St. Luke’s Hospital in San Antonio.

Moe, who led the Nuggets from 1980-90 and is the winningest coach in team history with a 432-357 record, is expected to make a full recovery.

He is the second Nuggets coach to have prostate cancer surgery. Head coach George Karl underwent a procedure in late July.
