Heat F Alexander Johnson Released from Hospital

Johnson was injured with about nine minutes left in Miami’s 109-95 loss at Washington when teammate Mark Blount’s elbow accidentally struck Johnson’s temple. The second-year player from Florida State was helped into the locker room, where he was conscious but generally not responsive.

He was evaluated at George Washington University Hospital and cleared to fly home with the Heat on Saturday. [ESPN]
