The game was postponed because the Hornets were unable to leave Oklahoma City following Friday night’s game due to inclement weather that caused mechanical difficulties. The weather conditions deteriorated on Saturday and the team was unable to leave.
"We have been in constant contact with the NBA since last night," said Hornets general manager Jeff Bower. "We were both in agreement that the safety of our players and staff was the most important issue and the decision was made to cancel tonight’s game."
