Houston lost a 95-88 decision to the Seattle SuperSonics on Saturday at KeyArena.Francis netted 28 points for the Rockets, who dropped their third straight contest.
The Rockets are happy to return home after going 1-4 on five-game road trip.
Houston is 5-1 at home this season.
The Jazz enter tonight’s contest on a four-game winning streak.
DeShawn Stevenson led five players in double-digit scoring as Utah defeated the New Jersey Nets 91-84 on Monday at the Delta Center.
Stevenson scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Jazz, who are now 9-1 at home this season. Matt Harpring added 16 points and nine rebounds and Andrei Kirilenko poured in 18 points while hauling down 10 rebounds.
Utah never trailed against the Nets and had 40 points in the paint compared to New Jersey’s 32.
The Jazz, who 9-1 at the Delta Center this season, are just 1-5 as the visitor.
The home team has won nine of the last 12 contests between the two teams.
Earlier this season, Utah defeated the Rockets, 83-76, at the Delta Center on November 26.
Overall, the Jazz have won two straight over the Rockets.
Utah has won two in a row in Houston.
