Los Angeles Lakers Team Report - November 11 11.11.2004
|
(Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Lakers found themselves on the wrong end of a 110-87 decision against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday at FedExForum.
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 20 points but finished just 4-of-19 from the floor. Lamar Odom racked up a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which came in having won two in a row.
Los Angeles’ Slava Medvedenko was activated from the injured list prior to the game but did not play. The Ukranian forward missed the first five games due to a bruised right heel.
Forward Jumaine Jones, who suffered a right calf strain during Tuesday’s win over New Orleans, was placed on the injured list to make room for Medvedenko.
Los Angeles, which will close its four-game road trip with a stop in Houston on Saturday, meets Orlando on Friday. The Lakers are 1-2 away from home this season.
The Lakers split their four matchups with Memphis last season and have won eight of the last 11 meetings. The Lakers are also 7-4 in their last 11 on the Grizzlies court.
