Charlotte went 2-4 on the swing and hasn’t played at home since a 95-94 loss to the New Jersey Nets on February 15.
Overall, the Bobcats are just 16-44 this season and have lost eight of their last 10 games, including Friday’s 90-76 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The squad has been riddled by injuries, most notably star Emeka Okafor.
Okafor is hampered with an ankle problem, while rookie Sean May is out with a knee injury.
However, first-year pro Raymond Felton made local headlines by being named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for games played in February. In 11 contests, May averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
On a veteran note, Gerald Wallace is back in full swing after missing 15 games with a knee injury. In his five games back from injury, Wallace is averaging 16.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.80 blocks.
Seasoned pro Brevin Knight has been playing well as of late, having averaged 10.2 points and 11.2 on Charlotte’s recent six-game road trip.
