Iverson, Camby named NBA Players of the Week 03.7.2005

Iverson earned Eastern Conference honors after averaging 37.3 points, 7.0 assists and 3.5 steals in leading the Sixers to a 3-1 record last week. He scored more than 30 points in each game, including 48 in a victory at Milwaukee.
Camby was named the Western Conference Player of the Week after he collected three straight double-doubles in helping the Nuggets to a 3-0 mark. He averaged 14.0 points, 15.7 rebounds and 4.33 blocks in the three games.
Other nominees for Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week for games played Monday, February 28 through Sunday, March 6 were Denver’s Carmelo Anthony, Miami’s Dwyane Wade, Minnesota’s Kevin Garnett, Orlando’s Dwight Howard, Phoenix’s Joe Johnson, San Antonio’s Tony Parker and Seattle’s Ray Allen.
