Iverson out with injured ankle 01.28.2006

Iverson, who is second in the NBA in scoring at 33.6 points per game, was hurt in the fourth quarter of the Sixers Thursday night loss against Orlando.
Iverson stepped awkwardly on Dwight Howard and immediately hobbled to the bench in pain. The superstar guard did return to play, but was in obvious discomfort the rest of the way.
His replacement, Kevin Ollie, played a wonderful floor game against New York. The veteran only scored six points, but had five assists and no turnovers while keeping everyone involved in the Sixers’ offense.
