New York, NY (Basketball News) - The NBA fined the Sacramento Kings $30,000 Monday for a pregame video displaying degrading images of the city of Detroit prior to the Kings’ November 8 home opener versus the Pistons.

NBA senior vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson announced the organization’s fine Monday for showing the demeaning pictures characterizing the Motor City during the Pistons’ introductions.

The Pistons won the showdown at Arco Arena, 102-88.
