The Knicks, who will host Portland on Sunday, are 2-4 away from home this season.
Denver, meanwhile, comes into tonight’s contest on a winning note after Carmelo Anthony had a season-high 31 points in the Nuggets’ 91-81 win over the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets on Wednesday at the Ford Center.
Marcus Camby had 15 points and added 15 rebounds, while Andre Miller chipped in 15 points, nine rebounds, and six assists for Denver, which has won two of its last three and gained its first road victory of the season (1-4).
Earl Boykins and Earl Watson each added 10 points from the bench for Denver.
On the injury front, the Nuggets were forced to play without Kenyon Martin, who missed the game with knee tendinitis. He is questionable for tonight’s affair.
Denver, which will close a brief two-game homestand against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, are 3-1 in its building this season.
The Knicks split their two matchups with the Nuggets last season, but have won four of the last six meetings. New York, though, has dropped seven of its last 10 in Denver.
