Lorenzen Wright had 16 points and eight rebounds, and an under-the-weather Mike Miller finished with 13 points, as Memphis won for the fourth time in five games.
The Grizzlies won for the first time in 16 chances at Key Arena and are above .500 (6-5) at the latest point in a season in franchise-history.
The Grizzlies, who are 3-3 on the road this season, are 0-16 when they are the visitor against the Lakers.
