(Basketball News) - Elton Brand poured in a season-high 30 points and dished out six assists, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a 94-82 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday at the Staples Center.
Bobby Simmons posted 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Clippers have come up with four consecutive wins in a five-day span after dropping three in a row. Marko Jaric recorded 16 points with 11 assists for the second straight game and Mikki Moore added 13 points off the bench.
The Clippers were without forward Corey Maggette (ankle) and Kerry Kittles (knee) for the second straight game
Brand has scored in double-digits in all 15 of the Clippers’ games this season. He is averaging 27.5 points, nine rebounds and 4.5 assists in his last two contests.
The Clippers are off until Wednesday when they host the Indiana Pacers. It is the final meeting of the season between the two squads. On November 10th, the Clippers crushed the Pacers, 102-68, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
