The club also inked forward Matt Freije and guard Felipe Lopez on Thursday, just after signing forward Terrence Morris and center Ken Johnson.

Outlaw will make his second stop in Orlando, having played for the Magic from 1997-2001. He averaged 7.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 285 games, including 222 starts, during his first stint with the club.

Last year, the 12-year veteran appeared in 39 regular-season games with Phoenix and posted averages of 0.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in just over five minutes per game.

In 839 career NBA games with the LA Clippers, Orlando, Memphis and Phoenix, Outlaw has averaged 5.7 points and 5.1 rebounds.

Freije played in 23 games for the Hornets last season, averaging 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds. He finished his collegiate career as the all-time leading scorer at Vanderbilt and was a second-round pick of Miami’s in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Lopez has appeared in 249 NBA games with Vancouver, Washington and Minnesota, averaging 5.8 points and 2.4 rebounds. He was a first-round pick by San Antonio in the 1998 NBA Draft after a standout career at St. John’s.

Morris, 26, has appeared in 117 career games with Houston and has averaged 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds. He was originally selected by Atlanta in the second round (34th overall) of the 2001 NBA Draft after four seasons at the University of Maryland, where he posted 12.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest.

Johnson spent last year with Bourg en Bresse in France and averaged 11.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 34 games. The Ohio State product was originally selected by Miami with the 49th overall pick of the 2001 draft and has totaled 2.0 points and 2.0 boards per outing.

The 27-year-old Johnson is the Big Ten and Buckeyes’ all-time leader in blocked shots with 444.
