Mavs activate Najera and place Delk on IL 01.28.2004

Najera, who missed the last 17 games with a sore left knee, is averaging just 3.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 28 games this season.
The four-year pro was sidelined for 33 games last season while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on the same knee. Najera, the second Mexican-born player to play in the NBA, has seen his playing time disintegrate with the acquisitions of Antoine Walker and Antawn Jamison prior to the season.
Delk has not played in any of the Mavericks’ last eight games due to the ankle injury. He is averaging 6.6 points and 16.3 minutes in 29 games this season.
