Dallas swept the season-series, 2-0, from the Bulls in 2005-06. The Mavericks have won 15 of the last 16 meetings in this series. Chicago has dropped eight of its last nine at Dallas.
The Bulls and Mavericks will meet on January 25th at the United Center for the second and final time of the regular season.
On Sunday, All-Star Dirk Nowitzki had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Mavericks to a 103-96 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
Jason Terry netted 24 and Jerry Stackhouse added 16 points and nine assists in the win over Portland for the Mavericks, who have won their last two games after starting the season with four consecutive losses.
Dallas is 0-2 at home this season. The Mavericks are scheduled to visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday in the first of a home-and-home set. Dallas will host the Grizzlies the following night.
Nowitzki leads the Mavericks in scoring (25.2 ppg) and rebounding (9.2 rpg). He has also handed out 3.2 assists per game, which ties him with Jason Terry and Devin Harris for the team lead.
