(Basketball News) - The Milwaukee Bucks found themselves on the wrong end of a 105-90 decision to the Houston Rockets on Friday at the Toyota Center.
Michael Redd had 21 points for the Bucks, who had a three-game win streak halted. Mike James added 17 points and seven assists off the bench as the Bucks have dropped three of four to the Rockets and five in a row in Houston.
Leading 60-59 late in the third quarter, Tracy McGrady sparked a 13-4 run that helped the Rockets to begin to pull away. He scored 10 points during the burst, extending Houston’s lead to 73-63 heading into the fourth.
In the final stanza after an early Bucks’ basket, six straight points by the Rockets gave the club a 79-65 cushion. Milwaukee had trouble getting the closer eight points the rest of the way.
Desmond Mason ended with 15 points for the Bucks, who shot only 39 percent from the field.
Mason has scored in double-digits in 15 straight games.
Milwaukee returns to the court on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks.
