(Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs finish their four-game road trip tonight, as they visit the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.
San Antonio is 2-1 on its current road swing. On Sunday, the Spurs fell to the Toronto Raptors, 96-91, at Air Canada Centre. Tim Duncan paced the Spurs in the loss with a game-high 26 points and 15 boards. Tony Parker contributed 13 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Spurs, who were outscored 33-9 in the fourth quarter.
Trailing by an 82-63 score, Toronto opened the fourth quarter on a 19-4 run as Morris Peterson’s three-pointer with 5 1/2 minutes remaining in the game pulled Toronto within four. The Raptors would later even the score at 87 apiece on two foul shots by Chris Bosh and a Rafer Alston layup in succession. Alston then gave the Raptors an 89-88 lead after Duncan sank 1-of-2 free throws.
With less than two minutes to go, Lamond Murray hit a three from the top of the key and the Raptors had a 92-90 lead. Murray, who also had a big block on Duncan, then sealed the win with an 18-foot jumper for a 94-90 edge with 14.6 seconds left.
The Spurs are 4-2 on the road this season.
Last season, Memphis won three of the four contests against the Spurs. Overall, the Grizzlies have won four of the last six contests in this series. San Antonio has lost two straight after winning its last 13 at the Grizzlies.
