(Basketball News) - Rashard Lewis scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 107-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center.
Lewis hit a key three-pointer with a minute left as the Sonics held off a late Dallas comeback attempt to win for the fourth straight time. Ray Allen added 22 points and Vladimir Radmanovic hit 5-of-7 from behind the arc on his way to 18 points for Seattle, which continues its best start to a season since 1993.
Luke Ridnour had 10 points for the Sonics, who were 10-of-23 from beyond the arc in the win.
Seattle began the 1993 season 17-2 after 19 games and 26-3 through 29. This season the team is 17-3.
Lewis has scored in double-digits in six straight games. He is averaging 22.5 points and four rebounds in that span.
The Sonics are off until Saturday when they host Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics. This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. On November 21, Seattle was crushed by the Celtics, 102-83, at the FleetCenter.
