(Basketball News) - The Sonics come into tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics on a two-game losing streak. On Saturday, Seattle fell 94-92 to the Golden State Warriors at The Arena in Oakland.
Ronald Murray came off the bench to lead the SuperSonics with 17 points, as they lost for the fourth time in the last five contests. Rashard Lewis and Calvin Booth each netted 12 points in the loss, while Jerome James finished with 10 points.
All-Star guard Ray Allen shot just 2-of-10 from the field and ended with eight points, four rebounds and four assists in Saturday’s loss. He fouled out after just 26 minutes of playing time.
Seattle is 15-14 as the host this season.
The Celtics have won three straight and six of the last seven meetings with the Sonics. Boston has won two of its last three at Seattle.
