Philadelphia also sent a 2006 second round pick to the Cavaliers.
Nailon was signed by the Sixers as a free agent in September and appeared in 22 games this season, averaging 4.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest. The forward came to Philadelphia after a solid 2004-05 campaign with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, averaging 14.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 68 games.
Nailon, however, was arrested by Lower Merion Police earlier this season on allegations of domestic violence and hasn’t played since a January 26 win at Minnesota.
Nailon, a six-year NBA veteran, has played for six different teams in his career and will be in his second stint with Cleveland, where he played in the 2003-04 campaign. He averaged 7.7 points and 3.0 rebound per game that year with the Cavs.
For his career, he is averaging 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. Nailon was originally selected by the Charlotte Hornets in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft.
