Sonics waive pair of guards

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics waived guards Denham Brown and Milt Palacio on Thursday.

Brown was selected by the Sonics in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft and totaled eight points and five rebounds in two preseason contests.

Palacio originally signed as a free agent with the Sonics in September after averaging 6.2 points and 2.7 assists per game with Utah last season.

Palacio has averaged 4.8 points and 2.5 assists in 470 career games with Vancouver, Boston, Phoenix, Cleveland, Toronto and the Jazz.
