Cassell, who also missed Game 5 with the two injuries, left Game 2 after just 43 seconds. However, he did return in Game 3 where he scored 18 points in the loss. In Game 4, Cassell didn’t start and went 1-for-4 while playing only five minutes in a loss.
The Florida State product is averaging 16.6 points and 4.4 assists in 16 playoffs games this season.
Los Angeles might also be without the services of one of its guards, as Derek Fisher will be a game-time decision with a sprained right knee.
Fisher injured the knee during the Game 5 loss, but still finished with 17 points. He is averaging 8.1 points per game these playoffs.
The Timberwolves staved off elimination with a 98-96 win in Game 5, but Los Angeles still holds a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-seven series.
