Utah activates Collins

Salt Lake City, UT (Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz have activated center Jarron Collins from the injured list and placed point guard Keith McLeod on the IL with a strained hamstring.

Collins, who has been sidelined since December 12 with a sprained right knee, is averaging 4.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 20 games this season. Collins’ status for Wednesday’s home game against Seattle is uncertain.

McLeod injured his hamstring in Sunday’s game against the SuperSonics and will likely miss two weeks. The 25-year-old McLeod is averaging 7.9 points and 5.0 assists in 24 games this year.
