Kevin Garnett added 21 points for Minnesota, which is 3-0 on its current four- game road trip, which ends Wednesday in Portland. Eddie Griffin recorded 14 points, 11 boards and eight blocks for the Timberwolves, who have won five of six overall and four straight on the road.
Mehmet Okur had 14 points and six rebounds for the Jazz, who have lost four of five.
Minnesota led for most of the contest and was ahead by just three points, 70-67, early in the fourth. However, the Timberwolves went on a 21-9 surge to take control.
Szczerbiak had 10 points during the run and Troy Hudson ended it with a three- pointer with two minutes remaining for a 91-76 lead.
Hudson had nine points for the Timberwolves, who have won three straight and six of seven against Utah.
Jarron Collins and Andrei Kirikenko each had 10 points for Utah, which led 24-22 after one quarter, but fell behind 46-43 at halftime.
Minnesota went into the fourth with a 68-61 lead.

Utah starting center Greg Ostertag did not dress due to back spasms...Matt Harpring had a season-high 10 boards for the Jazz...Minnesota shot 44.7 percent for the game, while Utah hit only 37.7 percent of its shots...Utah hit just 1-of-10 three-pointers compared to 6-of-14 for the Timberwolves.
