Warriors’ Richardson fined

New York, NY (Basketball News) - Golden State Warriors guard Jason Richardson has been fined $35,000 by the NBA on Thursday for improper interaction with a fan.

The incident occurred with 21.9 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ 118-112 loss to Dallas in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs on Tuesday at American Airlines Center.

Richardson it averaging 20.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in five games during the playoffs.

Golden State is leading the best-of-seven series, 3-2, with Game 6 to take place later on Thursday.
