(Basketball News) - Larry Hughes scored 16 to lead five Wizards in double- figures, as Washington demolished the Toronto Raptors, 86-60, at the MCI Center.
Gilbert Arenas had 11 points and five assists in just 27 minutes and Christian Laettner finished with nine points and a team-high 11 rebounds, as the Wizards won their second straight game and snapped a three-game losing streak at the hands of the Raptors.
Wizards’ swingman Jarvis Hayes fell hard on his tailbone late in the game, left the court on his own power, but did not return.
Washington fell to Toronto earlier this season, losing 82-79 on Halloween at Air Canada Centre.
The Wizards host rookie sensation LeBron James and the winless Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
