At some point, it’s up to the player. Johnson changing the offense to suit Kidd has been suggested here and elsewhere. But no system will work when the opposition plays five on four, refusing to guard Kidd.

In my opinion, that would be a huge mistake. But the same media people around here who butt-pat Wade Phillips, Ron Washington, Jon Daniels, Dave Tippett, etc., are certainly hinting that Johnson must go, although few if any will have the guts to come right out and say it or write it.
