Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - Maurice Williams scored 30 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the Milwaukee Bucks over the New York Knicks, 113-108, at the Bradley Center.

Michael Redd added 22 points and seven assists for the Bucks, who ended a two- game losing streak. Bobby Simmons added 18 points for Milwaukee, which pulled away in the fourth quarter and held off the struggling Knicks down the stretch.

Stephon Marbury had 23 points and a season-high 12 assists, but it wasn’t enough as the Knicks have dropped three in a row. Nate Robinson added 19 points and Maurice Taylor had 18 points for New York, which has dropped 10 of its last 11 games.

The Knicks grabbed their last lead of the game at 83-82 when Robinson connected on a three-point play with 9:56 left in the contest.

After that the Bucks scored five straight points, capped by a Redd three-point play with 7 1/2 minutes on the clock, and never relinquished the lead.

New York drew within 97-96, but six straight points by Milwaukee gave the club its largest lead of the game to that point, 103-96. Williams’ bucket with just over two minutes remaining ended the surge and the Bucks held off New York the rest of the way.

Milwaukee led 28-25 after one quarter, but New York rallied to go into halftime with a 57-54 advantage.

The Bucks scored the first four points of the third quarter to regain the lead, but the contest remained tight the rest of the way.

Eddy Curry followed up his season-high 29-point effort with a 12-point, 12- rebound contest for New York, which also got 15 points from rookie Channing Frye.

Jamaal Magloire had 15 points for the Bucks.

No. 1 draft choice Andrew Bogut had eight points and eight rebounds for Milwaukee.
