These two teams have already met twice at the United Center this season. The Wizards crushed Chicago, 99-74, on October 29, 2003, while the Bulls defeated Washington, 100-86, on December 27, which snapped Chicago’s two-game series losing streak to the Wizards.
Chicago comes into tonight’s game on a three-game losing streak. The Bulls lost to the New York Knicks, 101-96, on Saturday at the United Center.
Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford each had 20 points for the Bulls, who lost their fifth game in their last six tries. Chicago has also dropped five of seven at home.
The Bulls, who have lost two in a row on the road, are 5-13 as the visitor this season.
On Saturday, Larry Hughes scored a game-high 27 points and Jarvis Hayes added 14 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to lead the Wizards to a 99-84 win over the Seattle SuperSonics at the MCI Center.
Kwame Brown had 18 points and six rebounds in the win for the Wizards, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
The Wizards, who have won two of their last three at home, are 7-10 as the host this season.
Washington has won five of seven and seven of the last 10 meetings with the Bulls, who have lost four straight at Washington.
