=== Nets re-sign Cliff Robinson ===

East Rutherford, NJ (Basketball News) - The New Jersey Nets re-signed forward Clifford Robinson, the team announced Thursday. Terms of the deal were not released.

Robinson, who was acquired by the Nets on February 14 from the Golden State Warriors in exchange for two second round draft picks, played in 29 games with New Jersey. He averaged six points, 3.3 rebounds during the regular season and seven points and 2.5 rebounds in the playoffs.

"We are pleased to bring Cliff back to the Nets," team president Rod Thorn said. "He is a seasoned player who defends well in the low post and can also step outside to make a three-point shot, and we look forward to him being a valuable member of our frontcourt rotation for the upcoming campaign."

In his 16-year NBA career, Robinson has played in 1,250 games, with averages of 15.1 points and 4.7 rebounds. He was drafted by Portland in 1989.
