(Basketball News) - The New Orleans Hornets found themselves on the wrong end of a 99-94 decision against the lowly Phoenix Suns on Friday at New Orleans Arena.
Darrell Armstrong and Jamaal Magloire each netted 22 points for the Hornets, who have dropped four of their past five contests. Armstrong had eight assists and Magloire hauled in a game-high 14 boards.
New Orleans is currently the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, just a half-game in front of the Milwaukee Bucks.
All-Star guard Baron Davis missed his second straight game after spraining his left Ankle in Tuesday’s win over the Detroit Pistons. According to reports, Davis is expected to be sidelined up to three weeks.
New Orleans will return to action on Tuesday when they start a five-game Western Conference road trip in Los Angeles against the Lakers.
