Denver opened the swing with a 97-93 come-from-behind win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center. Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Ruben Patterson scored 20 points for the Nuggets, who have won three straight and eight of their last 11 games.
The Nuggets, seeded third in the Western Conference, are 3-5 in their last eight road games and 13-16 as the guest this season.
Against the Raptors, Denver has won three straight, including a 107-101 win this season on January 23 at the Pepsi Center.
Toronto, meanwhile, has lost two straight and eight of its last nine games.
It is fresh off being swept in a home-and-home series with Cleveland and dropped a 98-97 decision on Wednesday at home. Morris Peterson had 31 points for the Raptors.
The Raptors, who are in the midst of a three-game homestand, are 2-4 in their last six home games and 11-18 at the Air Canada Centre this season.
