Portland Trail Blazers Team Report - December 15

(Basketball News) - The Portland Trail Blazers continue their six-game road trip tonight, as they visit LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Gund Arena.

In 2003-04, the teams split a pair of contests. Overall, Portland has won Portland has lost three of its last five at Cleveland. The Blazers have lost five of eight and 10 of their last 17 at Cleveland.

Cleveland and the Blazers will meet once more during the regular season. Portland hosts the Cavaliers on January 19, 2005 at the Rose Garden.

The Trail Blazers come into tonight’s contest having lost four of their last six games. On Tuesday, Portland fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 100-89, at the Target Center in the first contest of the road swing.

Darius Miles scored 17 points and Zach Randolph finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds in Tuesday’s loss for the Trail Blazers, who have dropped two of their last three contests. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 15 points in the loss.

Portland, which will also visit the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks on the road trip, is 3-7 on the road this season.
