(Basketball News) - The Portland Trail Blazers were crushed by the Cleveland Cavaliers, 112-88, at Gund Arena on Wednesday.
Darius Miles scored 21 points and grabbed six boards for the Trail Blazers, who have lost five of seven. Portland is 3-8 on the road this season.
The game was tied at 53-53 early in the third quarter, but the Cavaliers responded with a 17-5 run and they never looked back. Jeff McInnis capped off the burst on a bucket to give his team a 71-58 advantage with 3:47 left in the frame.
Cleveland was in front 80-64 after 36 minutes and led by double digits the entire fourth quarter. The largest margin for the Cavs was 28 in the final minute at 112-84.
Miles has scored in double-digits in three straight games. He is averaging 16 points and four rebounds in that span.
Portland is off until Friday when it visits the Atlanta Hawks. Last season, the Blazers swept the two contests between the teams.
