(Basketball News) - Peja Stojakovic had 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds to give the Sacramento Kings an 86-81 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday at ARCO Arena.
Mike Bibby finished with 16 points and Chris Webber chipped in with 14 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Kings, who ended a two-game home losing streak and ended San Antonio’s five-game winning streak in the process.
Stojakovic has scored in double-digits in all 28 of Sacramento’s games this season. He has averaged 20.5 points per game, which is second to Webber, who is averaging 20.9 points.
Sacramento is off until Tuesday when it visits the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Kings will be playing the first of a four-game road trip, as they are also scheduled to visit the Toronto Raptors, Atlanta Hawks and New Orleans Hornets.
The Kings will be playing the Knicks for the first time this season. The teams are scheduled to play once again on February 4th at ARCO Arena.
