(Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs visit the Golden State Warriors tonight. San Antonio has won five of the last six meetings in this series. The Spurs have lost two of their last three as the visitor against the Warriors.
San Antonio is 20-15 on the road this season.
The Spurs are in second place in the Midwest Division, two games behind the Minnesota Timberwolves.
San Antonio lost to the Sacramento Kings, 101-87, on Sunday at ARCO Arena. The Spurs played without Tim Duncan for the second straight game, as the MVP continued to rehabilitate his left knee. Duncan is expected to miss tonight’s game.
In Duncan’s absence, Manu Ginobili led San Antonio with 16 points. Rasho Nesterovic added 14 points with 13 rebounds for the Spurs, who had a two-game winning streak halted and lost for just the second time in their last seven.
Ginobili has scored in double digits in three straight games. He has averaged 15.3 points, four rebounds and 4.7 assists in that span.
