On Thursday, All-Star Shawn Marion had 29 points and Tim Thomas added 22 to lead the Suns to a 117-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks at U.S. Airways Center.
Raja Bell tallied 21 points and Boris Diaw had 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the win over Dallas for the Suns, who were 16-of-24 from beyond the arc and won their second straight contest. Eddie House registered 13 points and reigning MVP Steve Nash had just six points, but dished out 13 assists.
The Suns, who will visit the Lakers on Sunday at the Staples Center, are 22-16 on the road this season.
Golden State enters tonight’s game off a surprising victory. Jason Richardson scored 25 points as the Warriors ended a nine-game losing streak with a 114-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday at The Arena.
Ike Diogu scored 22 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the win over Dallas for the Warriors, while Monta Ellis ended with a career- high 17 points Troy Murphy netted 16 in the victory.
The Warriors are 19-20 at home this season.
Phoenix has won all three meetings between the clubs this season. The Suns have won two of three and three of their last five at Golden State.
