=== Toronto Raptors Team Report - November 20 ===

(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors found themselves on the wrong end of a 101-94 decision against the red-hot Seattle SuperSonics on Friday at the Air Canada Centre.

Vince Carter, whose name has recently come up in trade talks with the Portland Trail Blazers, netted 21 points for the Raptors, who suffered their fifth straight defeat.

The SuperSonics held a small two-point edge about four minutes into the fourth, but then tallied eight unanswered points to push the advantage to double digits. On a pass from Danny Fortson, Nick Collison capped off the burst on a layup with 7:03 remaining to give his team an 85-75 lead.

With 3:26 to play, Ray Allen drained a three-pointer to give Seattle its largest lead of the game at 94-82.

Toronto cut the deficit to five in the final minute at 97-92 via a Matt Bonner jumper, but it was too little too late as the SuperSonics sealed the victory with four straight free throws.

Each team shot 34-of-79 from the field, but Seattle won the battle on the glass, 44-34.

Jalen Rose finished with 12 points and has scored in double-digits in four straight and nine of Toronto’s 10 games this season. He has averaged 15.1 points per game and leads the team in scoring.

Toronto, which is 3-1 at home this season, returns to the court on Sunday when it welcomes the San Antonio Spurs to town. The Raptors were swept in the two- game season series last year with the Spurs and have dropped four straight and six of the last seven meetings.
