Memphis has won two of three and five of the last seven contests in this series. The Grizzlies have lost four of their last six at Portland.
Portland wraps up a three-game homestand. On Wednesday, Zach Randolph dominated the paint with 28 points and 14 rebounds, as the Trail Blazers edged the Philadelphia 76ers, 95-91, at the Rose Garden.
Juan Dixon added 18 points in the win over Memphis for the Trail Blazers, who extended their season-high winning streak to three games. Ruben Patterson chipped in 17 points off the bench for Portland.
The Trail Blazers, who will host the Clippers on Sunday in the finale of the current stand, are 6-7 as the host this season. They have won two in a row at the Rose Garden.
Memphis plays the third contest of a four-game homestand. On Wednesday, Damon Stoudamire scored 25 points and dished out nine assists, as the Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 100-99, in overtime at the Staples Center.
Pau Gasol notched a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Eddie Jones tallied 17 points in the victory over the Lakers for the Grizzlies. Mike Miller contributed 14 points and 15 rebounds for Memphis, which has won three of its last four games.
The Grizzlies, who will visit the Seattle SuperSonics on Saturday in the finale of the swing, are 8-5 on the road this season.
